CLIENT SETUP / METATRADER 5

Set up your EA.
One step at a time.

Choose your plan below. Keep this guide beside MT5 as you connect your download and license.

Windows desktop or Windows VPSStart on demoH1 chart

01 / YOUR CLIENT PORTAL

Download your chosen EA.

Sign in with the email used for your TradePulse subscription. Find your plan and select Download EA.

  1. Your plan needs READY access and a published download.
  2. Open the downloaded ZIP in Windows and choose Extract All.
  3. Read INSTALL_FIRST.txt inside the ZIP. Keep the extracted files together.

Download being prepared? Your payment may be confirmed while the EA file is still unavailable. Refresh your portal and contact support if that message remains. Buying the plan again will not fix a missing download.

Open client portal ↗

02 / YOUR MT5 DATA FOLDER

Put the client EA in MT5.

Open the MT5 terminal you intend to use and connect to the correct broker’s demo account.

  1. In MT5, select File → Open Data Folder.
  2. Open MQL5 → Experts. Copy the extracted client folder there, following the ZIP’s folder layout.
  3. Return to MT5. In Navigator → Expert Advisors, right-click and select Refresh.

The client program is the compiled .ex5 file for your plan. The download is already compiled.

Keep your existing setup. Adding the client folder does not require deleting your other EAs. Use an empty chart when attaching it; MT5 runs one EA per chart.

03 / LICENSE CONNECTION

Allow TradePulse in WebRequest.

  1. Open Tools → Options → Expert Advisors.
  2. Enable Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
  3. Add this website address and select OK.
https://bot.georgesyounan.com

The EA uses this connection for license checks and, when enabled, account reporting.

04 / THE MATCHING PLAN KEY

Connect your license.

  1. Open an empty EUR/USD or XAU/USD H1 chart, matching your selected plan and your broker’s symbol.
  2. Attach the client EA to that chart.
  3. In Inputs, enter your ClientID and that plan’s LicenseKey.
  4. If you do not yet have a key, use Create license key on the matching plan in your portal.

Forex and Gold use separate keys. Each plan connects to one MT5 account and broker server. Contact support before moving a bound license to a different account.

Keep your license key private. Support can investigate using your Client ID and an error message; never send a broker password or a full license key.

05 / YOUR SETTINGS

Review risk and account sharing.

Using a real account? Your subscription must be paid in live billing. In MT5 Inputs, choose Load and select the included TradePulse_Live.set, then enter your ClientID and matching LicenseKey. Confirm AllowRealAccountTrading=true and review the risk settings before enabling Algo Trading. Sandbox purchases cannot authorize real trading. Ask support for a binding reset before moving a license between accounts.

Review the EA’s risk settings before enabling trading. A newer download can include new defaults, while a saved MT5 template or preset can retain previous Inputs.

ShareAccountData is on by default in current client releases. To allow the server to store those reports, sign in to your client portal, choose Manage reporting for this plan and save your permission after reviewing the notice. It covers account-wide funds and this EA’s positions and trading history in TradePulse Admin. Turn it off in Inputs if you do not want further account reports. Required license checks still continue.

Turning reporting off does not delete reports already received. Optional reporting is not a condition for the EA’s entry logic.

On your demo setup, allow algorithmic trading for the EA and enable MT5’s Algo Trading control. Confirm the account and chart before doing so.

Clients use the licensed trading EA. The separate owner Monitor and Notifier are not required for client installation.

06 / CHECK THE ACTUAL STATUS

Confirm the EA is connected.

  1. Keep MT5 open and connected. Open Toolbox → Experts.
  2. Look for TradePulse license: READY. If another reason appears, use the help below.
  3. Refresh your client portal. Check the connected account, server and latest license-check time.
  4. If reporting is enabled, TradePulse account reporting: accepted confirms the server accepted a report.

READY is license permission, not a trade signal. The strategy still checks trend, session, spread and risk. Waiting for a qualifying setup is expected; a day without a trade does not by itself indicate a fault.

Keep MT5 running and connected while the EA manages positions. A website connection check cannot verify every trading permission or prove that an order executed.

This checklist records only what you mark during this visit. It does not inspect MT5 or change your EA settings. Forex and Gold checklists are separate.

IF SOMETHING NEEDS ATTENTION

What does this message mean?

Payment required / PAUSED

Check the plan’s invoice and paid-through date in your portal. If renewal failed, update your payment method through Manage billing and confirm the outstanding payment. New-entry permission resumes after payment is confirmed unless an admin hold remains.

Admin hold

TradePulse Admin has paused new entries for this plan. Contact support with your Client ID and the plan name. Another purchase does not remove an admin hold.

Wrong key, account mismatch or sandbox account required

Check the Client ID, the matching Forex or Gold license key, and the MT5 account and server. A bound license cannot move accounts without a reset by support. While test billing is enabled, only demo MT5 accounts can be authorized.

Connection or WebRequest error

Check the WebRequest address, internet connection and the latest MT5 Experts message. Recheck after the EA retries. If it continues, send support the exact error and its timestamp, with secrets hidden.

Waiting for the next H1 candle / waiting for a setup

The EA evaluates new entries according to its strategy. Waiting does not promise an upcoming trade. Keep MT5 connected and check whether later messages identify a session, spread, news or risk restriction.

Volatility / spread filter

The current conditions did not pass an entry filter. Broker spreads and volatility vary, including on FBS. A READY subscription does not override these checks. Collect the message, spread and Inputs for support rather than changing risk limits solely to force a trade.

Lot minimum / risk / margin limit

The EA could not find an order size that passed its constraints. The broker’s minimum lot, stop distance, account funds, risk allowance and margin can affect this. The message alone does not identify which limit failed; send the symbol specification and relevant Inputs to support.

Waiting for account reporting

First check that this plan is connected to the correct MT5 account. In your client portal, open Manage reporting and grant permission if you want the reports stored. The EA also needs ShareAccountData enabled. A reporting-permission rejection does not change your trading license. Look for an accepted-report message in Experts. Turning reporting off stops further reports but does not by itself stop the trading strategy. License authorization is still required.

Notifier offline / not attached

Some Forex client versions retain the owner-style notifier label. The client installation does not require a separate Monitor or Notifier. Check the license and trading status in Experts independently.
